Human Rights Day
Standing up for equality, justice and human dignity
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a milestone in the fight for the inalienable rights which human being is entitled to regardless of race, sex, origin, color, religion, political opinion, property or other status. It was adopted on 10th December 1948 by the UN General Assembly. Notwithstanding, in many places human rights of the population are still disregarded although these principles are as relevant today as they were in 1948. This is why we need to stand up for our own rights and those of others.
